Both compile clean: Paper A 8 pp, Paper B 6 pp, zero undefined references in both.
Now:
1. Freeze draft.tex with a superseded header note.
2. Consistency re-read of paperA.tex (audit rule — I composed it fresh; the moved content is verbatim from the audited draft except: retargeted intro, new abstract, retitled theorem-in-intro, background's "One feature" paragraph, obstruction section trimmed, Appendix B retargeted lines). The NEW/CHANGED lines need the careful check. Let me do a focused re-read of paperA.tex's changed parts:
- Abstract: claims = three named hypotheses, axiom profile, no sorry "anywhere in the development's Li chain" ✓ accurate (sorryAx remains on valley/Suzuki skeletons — I said "the development's Li chain" — precise ✓).
- Intro: theorem restated ✓; "the explicit chain ... appears not to have been assembled before" ✓ matches "first assembled explicit chain" claim (R-004 ledger). The sentence lists the chain components: Lagarias contour + Trudgian bounds + archimedean lower bound + proved margin convexity + finite verifications ✓ all exist.
- "A companion note (in preparation) covers the spectral-line results ... (an exact factorization on Suzuki's operator line and a valley theorem for the associated model spaces)" ✓ accurate.
- Background "One feature" paragraph: removed the §3.2/§3.3 forward references; says "the main theorem of this paper has been required to pass this gate structurally (project file D-053)" ✓ (D-053 gate passed for T-1).
- §3 numbering: I promoted §3.1 to \section{The finite-height Li theorem (R-004)} — and the appendix B text references "Section~3" for B(n) ✓ I wrote "of Section~3" ✓. Theorem~\ref{thm:finite-height-li} — label exists in §3 ✓. But I ALSO created \label{thm:finite-height-li-intro} for the intro theorem — two theorems both numbered, no duplicate labels ✓.
- Intro says "Section~2 recalls... Section~3 states and proves... Section~4 collects the obstruction analysis... Appendix~A ... Appendix~B" ✓ matches structure (§2 background, §3 R-004, §4 obstruction, Appendix A numerics, Appendix B formal verification) ✓.
- Obstruction section: lead-in now says "graveyard G-001--G-003 and derivations D-009--D-013" — but the bullets reference G-002 and D-030/D-022/D-031 too. The original said "graveyard G-001--G-004 and derivations D-009--D-013" — also incomplete vs its own bullets (G-002 inside range G-001--G-004 ✓). My trimmed version: bullets reference G-001, G-002, G-003, D-013, D-009, D-030, D-022, D-031. Lead-in says "G-001--G-003 and D-009--D-013" — D-030/D-022/D-031 fall outside D-009--D-013! The ORIGINAL had the same imprecision (D-022, D-030, D-031 outside D-009--D-013). Hmm — the original said "full files in the project archive, graveyard G-001--G-004 and derivations D-009--D-013" — already loosely covering. For Paper A, fix the lead-in to "full files in the project archive (graveyard G-001--G-003; derivations D-009--D-031)" ✓ more accurate. Minor edit — let me apply it.
- Date: "Started: 2026-08-17; revised 2026-08-20" ✓.
- Author typo fixed (fromAnthropic → from Anthropic) ✓ — flag to user.
3. draft.tex freeze header.
4. NGUYEN.md §8.1 archive map update + session log; STATE.md; journal-013; db; commit.
Also: the draft.bbl/draft.blg etc. — the paper builds generate paperA.bbl etc. — untracked auxiliaries, same as before (leave).
One question: should draft.tex stay as-is or get the freeze note? Get the note.
Both compile clean (Paper A 8 pp, Paper B 6 pp, zero undefined refs). Fixing one lead-in imprecision I introduced in Paper A's obstruction section, then freezing draft.tex.
