Batch of errors to fix:
1. **`isOpen_gt` unknown** (line 578): the W⁻ openness — `isOpen_gt`? For {z | z.im < -5}: isOpen_gt continuous_const continuous_im? Hmm — isOpen_gt exists as `isOpen_gt : IsOpen {x | x < a}`? Actually the standard: `isOpen_lt (hf : Continuous f) (hg : Continuous g) : IsOpen {x | f x < g x}` and `isOpen_gt`?? Not sure it exists. Use isOpen_lt with flipped args: {z | z.im < -5} = {z | (fun z => z.im) < (fun _ => -5)} — `isOpen_lt Complex.continuous_im continuous_const` ✓.
2. **Line 643**: h3's field_simp left `-(−1 − s.re)⁻¹ = (1 + s.re)⁻¹` — ring should close but the ring call... I wrote `field_simp; ring` — field_simp produced that goal and ring... the error shows unsolved `-(−1−s.re)⁻¹ = (1+s.re)⁻¹` — ring DOESN'T handle ⁻¹. Fix: field_simp then... the goal −(−1−σ)⁻¹ = (1+σ)⁻¹: note −1−σ = −(1+σ): (−(1+σ))⁻¹ = −(1+σ)⁻¹ (inv_neg) ⟹ −(−(1+σ)⁻¹) = (1+σ)⁻¹ ✓. Let me compute directly instead of field_simp:
h3's goal: (1/8) * (−(1:ℝ)^((−σ−2)+1)/(−σ−2+1)) = (1/8)/(σ+1): 1^.. = 1; −1/(−σ−1) = 1/(σ+1):

The expression after: (1/8) * (−1^(−σ−1)/(−σ−1))... wait the lemma gives ∫ = −c^(a+1)/(a+1) with c = 1, a = −σ−2: = −1^(−σ−1)/(−σ−1) = −1/(−σ−1) = 1/(σ+1) ✓. field_simp [hσ] on (1/8)·(−1^(..)/(−σ−2+1)) = (1/8)/(σ+1) — the LHS denominator (−σ−2+1) = −(σ+1): −(σ+1) ≠ 0 from hσ via neg_ne_zero... field_simp [hσ, neg_ne_zero.mpr hσ]... and then ring for the polynomial part — but the earlier failure was `ring` on ⁻¹ terms — field_simp should clear ALL inverses if given the right side conditions: denominators: −s.re−2+1 and s.re+1: both = −(σ+1) and (σ+1) up to ring-normalization — field_simp normalizes? Alternative: normalize the exponent arithmetic first:
```lean
After one_rpow the numerator is 1? The lemma's form: −c^(a+1)/(a+1) = −(1)/(−σ−1) = −(1/(−σ−1)): so it's `-(1 ^ (-s.re - 2 + 1) / (-s.re - 2 + 1))` — the neg is OUTSIDE the division. rw [Real.one_rpow] gives −(1/(−σ−1)): then = 1/(σ+1): via `neg_div_neg_eq`? hmm: −(1/(−σ−1)): inner 1/(−σ−1) = −(1/(σ+1)) (div_neg? 1/(−x) = −(1/x): `one_div_neg`? or div_neg with a = 1: 1/(−x) = −(1/x) ✓ `div_neg`); so −(−(1/(σ+1))) = 1/(σ+1) via neg_neg. So: rw [e] (exponent normalize), Real.one_rpow, div_neg, neg_neg — sequence: term: − (1 / (−(σ+1))): rw [div_neg]: − (−(1/(σ+1))): rw [neg_neg]: 1/(σ+1) ✓ then the (1/8)·(1/(σ+1)) = (1/8)/(σ+1) by ring (real division ring identity ✓).
```
Hmm — wait the lemma statement: ∫ t in Ioi c, t^a = −c^(a+1)/(a+1) — the RHS is `−(c^(a+1))/(a+1)` or `−(c^(a+1)/(a+1))`? From the source: `∫ t : ℝ in Ioi c, t ^ a = -c ^ (a + 1) / (a + 1)` — parses as (−(c^(a+1)))/(a+1). With c = 1: −(1^(a+1))/(a+1): one_rpow: −1/(a+1) with a+1 = −σ−1: rw [show -s.re-2+1 = ...]. Let me just handle with a clean e-step + ring_nf:
```lean
have h3 : (∫ x in Set.Ioi (1:ℝ), (1 / 8) * x ^ (-s.re - 2)) = (1 / 8) / (s.re + 1) := by
rw [integral_const_mul, integral_Ioi_rpow_of_lt (show -s.re - 2 < -1 by linarith) one_pos,
Real.one_rpow]
have hσ : (0:ℝ) < s.re + 1 := by linarith
rw [show -s.re - 2 + 1 = -(s.re + 1) by ring, div_neg, neg_neg]
rw [eq_div_iff hσ.ne'] -- hmm direction
ring
```
Ugh. Simplest of all: after getting to `1 / 8 * (-(1 : ℝ) / (-s.re - 2 + 1)) = ...` — just do `rw [eq_iff...]`, or brute: `field_simp [show s.re + 1 ≠ 0 by linarith, show -s.re - 2 + 1 ≠ 0 by linarith]; ring` — field_simp with both ne-zero facts: the second: −σ−2+1 = −(σ+1) ≠ 0 ⟸ σ+1 ≠ 0: by linarith can't do ℂ... it's ℝ (s.re real ✓) so linarith ✓. So `field_simp [(by linarith : s.re + 1 ≠ 0), (by linarith : -s.re - 2 + 1 ≠ 0)]; ring`. The −σ−2+1 ≠ 0 from linarith ✓ (real). Then field_simp clears and ring closes. OK.
3. **Line 676** — him_abs's proof: my linarith [this] with this : |s.im| − |t| ≤ |s.im − t| — that's abs_sub_abs_le_abs_sub which gives ||a| − |b|| ≤ |a−b| — I have this : |s.im| − |t| ≤ |s.im − t|?? the displayed this : |s.im| − |t| ≤ |s.im − t| — hmm that's the STRIPPED version (abs of abs?). The goal: |s.im| ≥ |t| − |s.im − t| ⟸ this: |s.im| − |t| ≤ |s.im−t|... wait I want |s.im| ≥ |t| − |s.im−t| ⟸ |s.im| ≥ |t| − |s.im−t| — from |s.im − t| ≥ |s.im| − |t|?? no — from |t| = |s.im + (t − s.im)| ≤ |s.im| + |t − s.im| ⟹ |t| − |s.im − t| ≤ |s.im| ✓ (|t−s.im| = |s.im−t|). So: |s.im| ≥ |t| − |s.im − t| directly. My code:
```lean
have h1 : |s.im| ≥ |t| - |s.im - t| := by
have := abs_sub_abs_le_abs_sub s.im t
linarith [this]
```
abs_sub_abs_le_abs_sub s.im t : ||s.im| − |t|| ≤ |s.im − t| — doesn't directly give it. Use instead: `abs_le_abs_of_sub_le`? no — simplest: |t| = |s.im + (t − s.im)| ≤ |s.im| + |t − s.im| = |s.im| + |s.im − t| (abs_sub_comm): so |t| − |s.im−t| ≤ |s.im| ✓:
```lean
have h1 : |s.im| ≥ |t| - |s.im - t| := by
have h2 : |t| ≤ |s.im| + |s.im - t| := by
calc |t| = |s.im + (t - s.im)| := by ring_nf
_ ≤ |s.im| + |t - s.im| := abs_add _ _
_ = |s.im| + |s.im - t| := by rw [abs_sub_comm]
linarith [h2]
linarith [h1, him, ht]
```
`|s.im + (t − s.im)| = |t|` — ring_nf on the abs argument: `show |t| = |s.im + (t - s.im)|` by congr 1; ring ✓.
Then him_abs: 15/2 ≤ |s.im|: from h1 and him (≤5/2) and ht (|t| ≥ 10): |s.im| ≥ 10 − 5/2 = 15/2 ✓ linarith.
4. **Line 685**: `le_or_lt` unknown again — replace with `rcases le_or_lt 0 t`? It says unknown identifier — the name must have changed: `le_or_lt` → hmm. In this Mathlib: `le_or_lt (a b : α) : a ≤ b ∨ b < a` — maybe renamed `le_or_lt` to... earlier in LiContour I replaced le_or_lt with by_cases. Do the same: `rcases lt_or_ge t 0 with ht0 | ht0`? `lt_or_ge : a < b ∨ a ≥ b` ✓ standard. Use `rcases lt_or_ge t 0 with ht0 | ht0` — first branch t < 0, second t ≥ 0. Adjust the branches accordingly (my code had le_or_lt 0 t giving 0 ≤ t | t < 0 — swap to lt_or_ge t 0: t < 0 | 0 ≤ t — swap the two branches' order).
Hmm wait — earlier I used `rcases le_or_lt 0 (s.re + 1) with hσp | hσn` in LiContour and it FAILED with unknown identifier, then I switched to by_cases. But hold on — `le_or_lt` IS a real Mathlib lemma name... maybe it's `le_or_lt` deprecated → `le_or_lt`?? Whatever — use lt_or_ge.
5. **Line 707**: `norm_sub_le _ _` gives ‖a − b‖ ≤ ‖a‖ + ‖b‖ — but I need ‖s‖ ≤ ‖s − (2+tI)‖ + ‖2+tI‖ — that's `norm_le_add_norm_sub`? The right lemma: ‖s‖ = ‖(s − w) + w‖ ≤ ‖s−w‖ + ‖w‖: `norm_le_add_norm_sub`? hmm: there's `norm_le_insert`? Just: calc ‖s‖ = ‖(s − (2+tI)) + (2+tI)‖ := by ring_nf? — congr on the norm argument: `by rw [sub_add_cancel]`? (s − w) + w = s: `sub_add_cancel` ✓:
```lean
calc ‖s‖ = ‖(s - (2 + t * Complex.I)) + (2 + t * Complex.I)‖ := by rw [sub_add_cancel]
_ ≤ ‖s - (2 + t * Complex.I)‖ + ‖2 + t * Complex.I‖ := norm_add_le _ _
```
6. **Line 731**: gcongr side goals — `norm_add_le _ _` type mismatch: the gcongr split produced `‖1/2 + 1/(s−1)‖ ≤ 1/2 + 1/‖s−1‖` — norm_add_le gives ≤ ‖1/2‖ + ‖1/(s−1)‖: ‖1/2‖ = 1/2 (norm_ofReal/norm numeral: ‖(1/2 : ℂ)‖ = 1/2 — `Complex.norm_ofReal`? (1/2 : ℂ) = ↑(1/2:ℝ) ✓ norm_real... hmm 1/2 in ℂ is OfNat division — norm_num computes). The mismatch: my `exact norm_add_le _ _` produced ‖a‖+‖b‖ form ≠ the goal's 1/2 + 1/‖s−1‖ — because ‖1/2‖ ≠ 1/2 syntactically and ‖1/(s−1)‖ ≠ 1/‖s−1‖. The gcongr approach here is clumsy — restructure the whole final calc without gcongr:
```lean
calc ‖1 / 2 + 1 / (s - 1) - s * (s + 1) * J‖
≤ ‖1 / 2 + 1 / (s - 1)‖ + ‖s * (s + 1) * J‖ := norm_sub_le _ _
_ ≤ (1 / 2 + 1 / ‖s - 1‖) + ‖s‖ * ‖s + 1‖ * ‖J‖ := by
apply add_le_add
· calc ‖1 / 2 + 1 / (s - 1)‖ ≤ ‖(1 / 2 : ℂ)‖ + ‖1 / (s - 1)‖ := norm_add_le _ _
_ = 1 / 2 + ‖1 / (s - 1)‖ := by rw [show ‖(1/2 : ℂ)‖ = 1/2 by norm_num [Complex.norm_ofReal...]] -- hmm
_ ≤ 1 / 2 + 1 / ‖s - 1‖ := by
apply add_le_add_left
rw [norm_div, norm_one]
exact one_div_le_one_div_of_le (by norm_num) hsm1norm |>.trans_eq (by ring)
· rw [norm_mul, norm_mul]
_ ≤ ...
```
Hmm — ‖(1/2:ℂ)‖ = 1/2: `Complex.norm_ofReal`? (1/2 : ℂ) = ((1/2:ℝ):ℂ) ✓ norm_num should compute: `by norm_num` alone might do (norm of numeral ℂ). Let me use `by norm_num [Complex.norm_ofReal]`... Actually there's `Complex.norm_ratCast`? Simplest: have h12 : ‖(1/2 : ℂ)‖ = 1/2 := by norm_num — try plain norm_num (it has extensions for ℂ norms of numerals? not sure). Fallback: rw [show (1/2 : ℂ) = ((1/2 : ℝ) : ℂ) by norm_num]; exact Complex.norm_real... hmm Complex.norm_real : ‖(r:ℂ)‖ = ‖r‖ (real norm) then Real.norm_eq_abs + abs_of_pos... ugh. `by norm_num [Complex.norm_real, Real.norm_eq_abs]`. OK.
Also the `.trans_eq (by ring)` — one_div_le_one_div_of_le (h : 0 < a) (hab : a ≤ b) : 1/b ≤ 1/a: gives 1/‖s−1‖ ≤ 1/(15/2) = 2/15: I need ≤ 2/15: 1/(15/2) = 2/15 ✓ ring. Hmm wait — direction: hsm1norm : 15/2 ≤ ‖s−1‖: one_div_le_one_div_of_le (ha : 0 < 15/2) (hab : 15/2 ≤ ‖s−1‖) : 1/‖s−1‖ ≤ 1/(15/2) ✓ then trans_eq (1/(15/2) = 2/15 by ring)?? hmm — `X.trans_eq (h : X = Y)`? le_trans... `hle.trans_eq (by ring : 1/(15/2 : ℝ) = 2/15)` ✓.
And the last calc step (1/2+2/15) + (|t|+9/2)(|t|+11/2)(1/4) ≤ 3/4·|t|²: gcongr-free:
```lean
_ ≤ (1 / 2 + 2 / 15) + (|t| + 9 / 2) * (|t| + 11 / 2) * (1 / 4) := by
apply add_le_add
· apply add_le_add_left
exact (one_div_le_one_div_of_le (by norm_num) hsm1norm).trans_eq (by ring)
· exact mul_le_mul (mul_le_mul hsnorm hs1norm (norm_nonneg _) (by positivity)) hJ' (norm_nonneg _) (by positivity)
_ ≤ 3 / 4 * |t| ^ 2 := by
nlinarith [ht, sq_nonneg (|t| - 10)]
```
Hmm wait — in the second piece: I have ‖s‖‖s+1‖‖J‖ and want ≤ (|t|+9/2)(|t|+11/2)(1/4): mul_le_mul (mul_le_mul hsnorm hs1norm (norm_nonneg _) (by positivity : 0 ≤ |t|+9/2)) hJ' (norm_nonneg _) (mul_nonneg (by positivity) (by positivity))... the mul_le_mul signature: mul_le_mul (h₁ : a ≤ b) (h₂ : c ≤ d) (hc : 0 ≤ c) (hd : 0 ≤ b) : a*c ≤ b*d — so mul_le_mul hsnorm hs1norm (norm_nonneg _) (by linarith [hsnorm])... hd : 0 ≤ |t|+9/2 ✓ positivity (|t| ≥ 0 ✓). Then outer: mul_le_mul (that) hJ' (norm_nonneg _) (mul_nonneg (by positivity) (by positivity)) ✓.
Then the nlinarith final: goal (1/2+2/15) + (|t|+9/2)(|t|+11/2)(1/4) ≤ (3/4)|t|² — nlinarith [ht, sq_nonneg (|t|−10)]: expand: sq_nonneg gives |t|²−20|t|+100 ≥ 0. Goal ⟺ (3/4)|t|² − (1/4)(|t|²+10|t|+99/4) − 19/30 ≥ 0 ⟺ (1/2)|t|² − (5/2)|t| − 99/16 − 19/30 ≥ 0 ⟸ |t| ≥ 10: 50 − 25 − 6.19 − 0.63 > 0 ✓ nlinarith should find: (1/2)|t|² ≥ (5/2)|t| + ... via |t|(|t|−10) ≥ 0·... |t|² ≥ 10|t|: (1/2)|t|² ≥ 5|t|: then need 5|t| − (5/2)|t| = (5/2)|t| ≥ 25 ≥ 99/16+19/30 ≈ 6.82 ✓. nlinarith [ht, sq_nonneg (|t| − 10)] should do it.
Let me also double check hsm1norm's inner: `|(s - 1).im| = |s.im|`: (s−1).im = s.im − 0 = s.im: simp [sub_im, one_im] ✓ — the calc step `_ = |(s - 1).im| := by simp [sub_im, one_im]` — direction: goal |s.im| = |(s−1).im|: simp rewrites |(s−1).im| → |s.im − 0| = |s.im| ✓.
Wait — in him_abs I now have h1 via the abs_add route ✓.
Also the earlier `h5` derivations used linarith with him/abs_le — those look fine (reals).
Let me now apply all these fixes via a big edit of the §5 block.
Fixing the batch: `isOpen_lt` with flipped args, the h3 algebra, `lt_or_ge`, norm triangle direction, and restructuring the final calc without fragile gcongr.

From the source: `∫ t : ℝ in Ioi c, t ^ a = -c ^ (a + 1) / (a + 1)` — parses as (−(c^(a+1)))/(a+1). With c = 1: −(1^(a+1))/(a+1): one_rpow: −1/(a+1) with a+1 = −σ−1: rw [show -s.re-2+1 = ...].
