← Session 3 — Project kickoff: RH blueprint, staged workflow + archive design
thinking (262 chars)
Done. Also update memory with these user directives (pacing, 5pm break prompt, plan mutability) — these are collaboration preferences not fully derivable... actually they ARE now in NGUYEN.md which is auto-loaded. Per rules, skip duplicating. Brief confirmation.
Committed (`2e4c7e3`). Both directives are now permanent parts of the plan:
**§5 — Plan is not concrete:**
- Checklist can be updated, extended, reordered, or pruned anytime as the research demands.
- Explicit rule: if a promising direction appears that isn't in the plan, *the plan changes, not the direction*. The ultimate goal — solving RH — always outranks the checklist.
- Every plan change gets committed to git with a one-line rationale, so the evolution of the research strategy is itself documented (useful for the paper's narrative).
**§8.5 — Pacing & sub-stages:**
- No rush; rigor outranks speed.
- Any stage expected to take a few hours gets broken into sub-stages, each ending in a clean, committed, resumable state — so a shutdown mid-stage never costs more than a few minutes of work.
- When work runs long — especially approaching **5:00 PM** — I'll pause and ask whether you want to continue, break, or log off, and run the full save-and-commit protocol before stopping.
Everything is persisted. Whenever you're ready, we begin Phase 0.1 — parsing Notes.txt into the master equation/tool index (`D-001`).
