Now commit per §5 ("All plan changes are committed to git with a one-line rationale"). The git status at conversation start showed modified correspondence files and untracked files — I must NOT sweep those into this commit. Stage only NGUYEN.md and STATE.md.
Commit message per convention: session number in message (§8.4). This is a plan update between sessions — I'll reference the F-D direction choice. Per handoff notes: git -c user.name="NGUYEN-RH-1" -c user.email="research@local" commit.
