Progress — down to 3 errors (plus the harmless push_cast warning):
1. **Line 626 (hIntG convert)**: "No goals to be solved" — the `convert h using 1` closed everything before `ext σ; ring`. The convert's function equality was rfl/defeq (the beta-redex) — so convert finished and the ext/ring had nothing. Fix: drop `ext σ; ring` — use `exact h`? — the issue: h's function is `fun σ => dirichletC2 * ((fun σ => 4·eA σ + 4·eB σ) σ)` vs goal `fun σ => dirichletC2 * (4·eA σ + 4·eB σ)` — defeq (beta) — so `exact h` might work directly... but the error says convert closed it and the extra tactics errored. Restructure:
```
have hIntG : IntervalIntegrable (fun σ : ℝ =>
dirichletC2 * (4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ) + 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ)))
MeasureTheory.volume 3 XR := by
have h := (hIntA.add hIntB).const_mul dirichletC2
convert h using 1
```
If convert closes it fully, done. If not, it leaves the function-eq goal — then handle. Try this.
2. **Line 639 (h2's rw)**: after `rw [intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul, intervalIntegral.integral_add hIntA hIntB]`, the goal is `dirichletC2 * (∫4eA + ∫4eB) = dirichletC2 * ∫4eA + ∫4eB` — WAIT, the error shows: `dirichletC2 * ((∫ 4eA) + (∫ 4eB)) = dirichletC2 * (∫ 4eA) + (∫ 4eB)`?? — no: `dirichletC2 * ((∫4eA) + (∫4eB)) = dirichletC2 * ∫4eA + ∫4eB` — the RHS has lost its C2 on the second term?! The h2 statement's RHS is `dirichletC2 * (∫ 4eA + ∫ 4eB)` — and the rewrites produced `dirichletC2 * (∫4eA + ∫4eB)` on the LHS ✓ and the statement RHS is `dirichletC2 * ∫4eA + ∫4eB` — PRECEDENCE: `dirichletC2 * ∫4eA + ∫4eB` parses as `(dirichletC2 * ∫4eA) + ∫4eB`!!! My h2 statement's RHS has a PARENTHESIZATION BUG: I wrote `dirichletC2 * (∫ ... + ∫ ...)` — let me look... line 638–639 in my edit: `= dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * Real.exp (...) + ∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ))` — wait — the error shows the expected RHS as `dirichletC2 * ∫ 4·eA + ∫ 4·2^(−σ)` — hmm — looking at the error: `dirichletC2 * ((∫ 4eA) + (∫ 4eB)) = dirichletC2 * ∫ 4eA + ∫ 4eB` — the LHS (proved) is C2·(∫+∫) and RHS (expected) is C2·∫ + ∫ — so h2's STATEMENT has the RHS without parens?! Let me check my h2 edit: `= dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ) + ∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ))` — the parens ARE there: `dirichletC2 * (∫ ... + ∫ ...)`. Hmm — but the error's expected type shows `dirichletC2 * ∫ (σ : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * Real.exp ... + ∫ (σ : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * 2 ^ (-σ)` — with `+ ∫` OUTSIDE the C2·... — OH WAIT — the `∫ x in a..b, f x` NOTATION binds TIGHTER than I think — or the issue is that `∫ σ in 3..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ in 3..XR, 4·eB σ` — my parens wrap the WHOLE thing `dirichletC2 * (∫A + ∫B)` ✓ — but the error's expected form... Actually reading again: the goal shown is `dirichletC2 * ((∫4eA) + (∫4eB)) = dirichletC2 * ∫4eA + ∫4eB` — hmm, no it shows:
`⊢ dirichletC2 * ((∫ (x : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * Real.exp ...) + ∫ (x : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * 2 ^ (-x)) = dirichletC2 * ∫ (σ : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * Real.exp ... + ∫ (σ : ℝ) in 3..XR, 4 * 2 ^ (-σ)`
The RHS: `dirichletC2 * ∫ (4·eA) + ∫ (4·eB)` — i.e., `(dirichletC2 · ∫4eA) + ∫4eB` — so h2's statement RHS really is missing parens — from MY edit, line 638: `= dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ) + ∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ))` — wait, that HAS the outer parens. Unless the ∫-notation's precedence swallowed them: `∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·2^(−σ)` — the ∫ notation's body extends as far RIGHT as possible!! `∫ σ in 3..XR, 4 * Real.exp (...) + ∫ σ' in 3..XR, 4 * 2 ^ (-σ')` — the first ∫'s body might INCLUDE the `+ ∫ ...`?! NO — `∫ x in a..b, f x + g y` parses as `∫ x in a..b, (f x + g y)`?? — the interval-integral notation `∫ x in a..b, f` — its body is the whole following term — so `∫ σ in 3..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ' in 3..XR, 4·eB σ'` parses as `∫ σ in 3..XR, (4·eA σ + ∫ σ' in 3..XR, 4·eB σ')`!! THAT's the bug — the second integral got absorbed into the first integrand!! So my h2 statement has `∫ (4eA + ∫4eB)` — nonsense — and the rewrites gave `∫4eA + ∫4eB` — mismatch.
FIX: parenthesize each integral: `= dirichletC2 * ((∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ)) + (∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ)))` — with explicit parens around EACH ∫. Also check h3a/h3b/hsum statements for the same issue: h3a : `∫ σ in 3..XR, 4·eA σ ≤ ...` — single integral, fine. hsum's statement: `dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·2^(−σ))` — SAME BUG (the second ∫ absorbed). Fix all occurrences by adding parens around each ∫ term.
3. **Line 658 (h3a's calc)**: `calc 4 * (Real.exp (-3 * (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) / (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) = ...` — the calc STARTS at `4 * (exp(−3c)/c)` but the expected start is `4 * ∫ ...` — the h3a goal after `rw [intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul]` is `4 * ∫ exp(−cσ) ≤ exp(4/3)/(2c)` — my calc starts at `4 * (exp(−3c)/c)` — missing the chain through `h : ∫ exp ≤ exp(−3c)/c`. The calc should be:
```
calc 4 * ∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ)
≤ 4 * (Real.exp (-3 * (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) / (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) := by
apply mul_le_mul_of_nonneg_left _ (by norm_num : (0 : ℝ) ≤ 4)
rw [he3c] at h...
```
hmm — h : ∫ exp(−cσ) ≤ exp(−3c)/c (BEFORE the he3c rewrite — I did `rw [he3c] at h` giving h : ∫ ≤ (exp(4/3)/8)/c). Then:
```
calc 4 * ∫ σ in (3 : ℝ)..XR, Real.exp (-(Real.log 2 - 4 / 9) * σ)
≤ 4 * ((Real.exp (4 / 3) / 8) / (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) :=
mul_le_mul_of_nonneg_left h (by norm_num)
_ = Real.exp (4 / 3) / (2 * (Real.log 2 - 4 / 9)) := by
field_simp [hc.ne']
ring
```
Wait — but the rw [intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul] at h3a's start: h3a's goal is `∫ 4·exp(−cσ) ≤ ...` — rw [intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul] turns it into `4·∫exp(−cσ)` ✓ then the calc starts at `4·∫exp` ✓. And h = integral_exp_neg_le hc hXR : ∫ exp(−cσ) ≤ exp(−3c)/c — after rw [he3c] at h: ∫ ≤ (exp(4/3)/8)/c ✓. mul_le_mul_of_nonneg_left h (0 ≤ 4) : 4·∫ ≤ 4·((exp(4/3)/8)/c) ✓ then field_simp+ring for `4·((exp(4/3)/8)/c) = exp(4/3)/(2c)` ✓.
So restructure h3a's calc to start from the integral.
4. **Line 670 (h3b's h2e rw)**: `rw [h2e, intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul]` — h2e : (fun σ => 2^(−σ)) = (fun σ => exp(−log2 σ)) — rw [h2e] rewrites `fun σ => 2 ^ (-σ)` — pattern not found in the goal `∫ σ in 3..XR, 4 * 2 ^ (-σ) ≤ 1/(2·log2)` — the goal's integrand is `4 * 2 ^ (-σ)` — h2e's pattern is the bare function `fun σ => 2 ^ (-σ)` — rw needs the pattern to appear as a SUBTERM — the function appears inside the integral as the body of a lambda within `∫` notation: the integrand is `fun σ => 4·2^(−σ)` — different function (with the 4)! So rw [h2e] fails. FIX: rewrite at the POINTWISE level: change the statement to be about the integral of `fun σ => 4 * (2:ℝ)^(-σ)`: convert that function first:
```
have h2e : (fun σ : ℝ => 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ)) =
(fun σ : ℝ => 4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2) * σ)) := by
funext σ
rw [Real.rpow_def_of_pos (by norm_num : (0 : ℝ) < 2)]
congr 1
ring
rw [h2e, intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul]
```
✓ (the `congr 1` after funext: 4·2^(−σ) = 4·exp(−(log2)·σ): rpow_def_of_pos rewrites 2^(−σ) → exp(−σ·log2): 4·exp(−σ·log2) = 4·exp(−log2·σ): congr 1; ring for the exponent comm ✓).
Also fix the hsum statement's paren issue (the ∫+∫ absorption) — check hsum and the final calc. hsum's statement: `dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·2^(−σ))` — same absorption bug. And the final calc's steps reference those forms — fix coherently.
Found it — the `∫ ... + ∫ ...` notation absorbs the second integral into the first integrand (precedence trap). Fixing all affected statements plus the h3a/h3b calc structures.

FIX: rewrite at the POINTWISE level: change the statement to be about the integral of `fun σ => 4 * (2:ℝ)^(-σ)`: convert that function first:\n```\n have h2e : (fun σ : ℝ => 4 * (2 : ℝ) ^ (-σ)) =\n (fun σ : ℝ => 4 * Real.exp (-(Real.log 2) * σ)) := by\n funext σ\n rw [Real.rpow_def_of_pos (by norm_num : (0 : ℝ) < 2)]\n congr 1\n ring\n rw [h2e, intervalIntegral.integral_const_mul]\n```\n✓ (the `congr 1` after funext: 4·2^(−σ) = 4·exp(−(log2)·σ): rpow_def_of_pos rewrites 2^(−σ) → exp(−σ·log2): 4·exp(−σ·log2) = 4·exp(−log2·σ): congr 1; ring for the exponent comm ✓).\n\nAlso fix the hsum statement's paren issue (the ∫+∫ absorption) — check hsum and the final calc. hsum's statement: `dirichletC2 * (∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·eA σ + ∫ σ in (3:ℝ)..XR, 4·2^(−σ))` — same absorption bug. And the final calc's steps reference those forms — fix coherently.","signature":""},{"type":"text","text":"Found it — the `∫ ... + ∫ ...` notation absorbs the second integral into the first integrand (precedence trap).
