Phase 4: Synthesis Assault. Per NGUYEN.md:
- 4.1 Combine strongest partial results from Phases 1–3.
- 4.2 State best new theorem(s); classify [PROVED]/[CONDITIONAL].
- 4.3 Adversarial gauntlet: Davenport–Heilbronn/Epstein sanity gate; independent-instance review; error-hunting pass.
- 4.4 Numerical stress test vs known zero data.
Plan the sub-stages (each committable):
- Sub-stage 4.A: 4.1+4.2 — synthesis document stating the best theorems with classifications (D-052).
- Sub-stage 4.B: 4.3a — the Davenport–Heilbronn/Epstein sanity gate: this is the critical one. What does it mean for our results?
- R-004 (finite-height Li): the Li criterion for Davenport–Heilbronn fails (D-H has off-line zeros; its Li coefficients eventually go negative — Misguich/Voros tested exactly this). Our theorem is specifically about ζ and conditional on Platt–Trudgian — the gate check: does the PROOF use anything that would also work for D-H? The bridge uses RH-to-T₀ (false for D-H) — so the argument can't even start for D-H. ✓ gate passes structurally. But should verify: the contour/constants part (Trudgian etc.) is ζ-specific ✓.
- Valley theorem (D-049): under-RH conditional statements — for D-H, RH-analog fails, so the hypotheses exclude it. The unconditional lower bounds (bump tests) — do they hold for D-H too? The valley existence at true zeros of D-H: the D-H zeros include off-line ones; the form's comb identity holds for any such L-function... the valleys would appear at the real parts of all zeros including off-line pairs — with sign defects. The detector remark already says this. Need to verify consistency: our measured valleys at ζ's γ's with floors ≈1 — for D-H the theory predicts anomalous valleys at off-line zeros — consistent, no contradiction.
- R-003 factorization: algebraic identity — applies to any ξ-like function; the (★) claim is ζ-specific (would fail for D-H because D-H's W has non-real zeros — its zeros of W(a,θ;z)... hmm interesting: for D-H, Thm 1.5 analog? Suzuki's theorem is specific to ζ's screw function. The gate: our claims about (★) being RH-gated ✓ consistent.
- Sub-stage 4.C: 4.3b — independent-instance review: re-verify key numerics claims with independent code paths? We did cross-validation throughout. An error-hunt pass: review the session-008 chains (E-022→D-040→D-044→D-049) for consistency.
- Sub-stage 4.D: 4.4 — numerical stress test vs known zero data: the valley theorem makes falsifiable predictions — test against more zero data (e.g., predict K-valley positions = zeros; blind-test: find zeros from the K-valleys and compare with zetazero — a zero-detection test!). That's a nice stress test: use K-valley positions to COMPUTE zeros and compare with known values.
Actually the strongest 4.4 test: the valley theorem says valleys sit AT the γ's with floor → 1. A blind test: locate valleys in K_a(z,z) (computed from the prime side only, no zero input!) and compare positions against mp.zetazero. We already know valleys sit at γ's within grid resolution 0.05 (E-022b). A stress test with finer resolution: measure valley-center accuracy vs a. This doubles as a zero-detection demonstration.
Also 4.2's "best theorems" statement — classify:
- R-004: [PROVED-CONDITIONAL(computational RH-to-T₀)] — theorem.
- Valley theorem: [PROVED-CONDITIONAL(RH)] main; finite-height parts.
- R-003: [PROVED modulo FT bookkeeping].
- D1 reduction: [PROVED modulo L1 write-up].
- The equilibrium/Δ law: under-RH theorem.
Let me start sub-stage 4.A: the synthesis document D-052. Then the sanity gate analysis (4.3a) as D-053. Then the numerical stress test E-027 (blind zero detection from K-valleys — using the existing machinery, cheap). Then 4.3b error-hunt as a review pass documented in D-054.
Start with D-052 (synthesis of best theorems).
Phase 4 begins. Plan: 4.A synthesis + best theorems (D-052), 4.B the Davenport–Heilbronn/Epstein gate (D-053), 4.C numerical stress test (E-027: blind zero-detection from K-valleys), 4.D error-hunt pass (D-054). Starting with the synthesis.
