The Ncount_add_of_le's implicit {a b c} got unified WRONG — the by-linarith proofs unified the interval endpoints as `Real.log (...)` — because the implicit {a b c} of Ncount_add_of_le weren't determined by the (by linarith) proof args (they're props a ≤ b, b ≤ c — any a b c fit). The `have hsplit : ... := Ncount_add_of_le ...` — the ascription SHOULD drive unification of the term's type with the stated type — but with the proof args being `by linarith` (deferred elaboration), the metavars got resolved badly. The linarith proof terms elaborated BEFORE the expected-type unification, so {a b c} were free and linarith's `le_of_not_gt` produced proofs about log-atoms?? — the elaborated garbage shows a_1 involving Real.log — the metavars for a b c got assigned from the linarith internals.
Fix: pin the implicit args explicitly:
```lean
Ncount_add_of_le (a := a) (b := a + (N : ℝ)) (c := a + (N : ℝ) + 1) (by linarith) (by linarith)
```
And the parse error at 152:35 — let me look at line ~150 area (the end of Ncount_chain_le / the doc comment before Ncount_le_of_interval).
The implicit endpoints of `Ncount_add_of_le` must be pinned (the `by linarith` proofs don't determine them). And checking the parse error at line 152.
