thinking (3127 chars)
Two issues:
1. The verbatim Lean signature contains unicode (∀, ℕ, ≤, ℝ) — LaTeX errors on unicode in verbatim (inputenc/fontenc handles text but verbatim with unicode needs special handling). Fix: load `upquote`-friendly approach — simplest: replace the unicode in the verbatim with LaTeX escapes?? — verbatim doesn't process escapes. Options: (a) use `\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}` + `\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}` + `\usepackage{textcomp}` — unicode ∀/ℕ/ℝ still won't map in T1 verbatim (those chars aren't in T1). (b) Use a `listings` or `minted` environment. (c) Replace the unicode with ASCII-ish representations inside the verbatim: `∀` → `\forall` can't go in verbatim. Use a `\begin{quote}` with inline math instead of verbatim:
```
\begin{quote}\ttfamily\small
theorem lambda\_pos\_finite\_height\_closed\\
\hspace*{1.5em}(hRH : RHUpTo (3 * 10 \textasciicircum\ 12)) (hfinite : LiVerifiedUpTo (10 \textasciicircum\ 5))\\
...
\end{quote}
```
Ugly. Better: format the signature as regular text with \texttt on identifier names and math for the rest:
```
theorem \texttt{lambda\_pos\_finite\_height\_closed}
(hRH : RHUpTo $(3 * 10^{12})$) (hfinite : LiVerifiedUpTo $(10^5)$)
(hZC : ZeroCountProp) (hZC2 : ZeroCountProp2)
(hZCG : ZeroCountGlobalProp) (hNLZ : NoLowZeros)
(hMZ : MZeroProp) :
$\forall n : \mathbb{N}$, $1 \le n \to (n : \mathbb{R}) \le (3 \cdot 10^{12} - 1)^2 \to 0 < (\texttt{liCoeff}\ n).\mathrm{re}$
```
Hmm — cleaner: present it as a small `\begin{quote}` block with mixed text/math. Or simplest robust: keep verbatim but ASCII-ify the two unicode lines: `∀ n : ℕ, 1 ≤ n → (n : ℝ) ≤ (3 * 10 ^ 12 - 1) ^ 2 → 0 < (liCoeff n).re` — the verbatim is supposed to be VERBATIM from the file, so ASCII-ifying breaks the "verbatim" promise... — the user said "copy the actual final Lean signature verbatim into Appendix B" — the spirit is the exact signature. I'll use a `listings`-free approach: `\begin{quote}\ttfamily` with `$\forall$`, `$\mathbb{N}$`, `$\le$`, `$\mathbb{R}$`, `$\to$` as math — displayed exactly, unicode handled. Like:
\begin{quote}\ttfamily\upshape\small
theorem lambda\_pos\_finite\_height\_closed\\
\hspace*{2em}(hRH : RHUpTo (3 * 10 \^{} 12)) (hfinite : LiVerifiedUpTo (10 \^{} 5))\\
\hspace*{2em}(hZC : ZeroCountProp) (hZC2 : ZeroCountProp2)\\
\hspace*{2em}(hZCG : ZeroCountGlobalProp) (hNLZ : NoLowZeros)\\
\hspace*{2em}(hMZ : MZeroProp) :\\
\hspace*{2em}$\forall$ n : $\mathbb{N}$, 1 $\le$ n $\to$ (n : $\mathbb{R}$) $\le$ (3 * 10 \^{} 12 $-$ 1) \^{} 2 $\to$ 0 $<$ (liCoeff n).re
\end{quote}
Hmm — the `^` in verbatim-ish tt: use \^{} (gives ^). And `∀` → $\forall$. That's fine and looks like Lean.
2. The PDF is now 11 pages (was 9) — the §3.1 + the App B additions + the verbatim. Fine.
Also check the bbl regenerated (bibtex ran but with "major issue" exit — that's the MiKTeX update nag, not an error? — "bibtex: major issue: So far, you have not checked for MiKTeX updates." — that's just the nag message; the .bbl was probably written. Let me check the bbl contains johansson/oesterle, then recompile after fixing the unicode issue and check undefined refs.
The verbatim Lean signature has unicode (∀/ℕ/≤/ℝ) LaTeX can't typeset. Replacing with a tt-quote using math for those symbols.
